It is 1949 at Denargo’s Tavern in Colorado, where Lloyd “Red” Barker will sling you a drink as he attempts to live a quieter life than the one he has fled. The son of “Ma Barker”—yes, that one—he is hoping Colorado will provide an escape from the infamy of the Barker Boys, his family’s criminal gang.

But the past always has a way of catching up.
